Safety, health, and cleanliness are the most essential components here at Essential Services & More. Below we’ve listed our Policies & Procedures for you to review at your convenience.

Supplies

Essential Services and More will provide cleaning products and tools. However, If you would like us to use your cleaning products or equipment, please let us know at your consultation or prior to your scheduled cleaning. Please let us know if there are any know allergies prior to your cleaning.

Weapons, Knives, Sharp Items, Bio-Hazards

To protect our staff and everyone else, we will not clean any room(s) if any weapons are visible. Please store and lock away any weapons before the crew enters your home.

Pets

Please secure your pets. Our staff will NOT clean up urine or feces, litter boxes, vomit, walk, or feed your pet.

Infestation and Mold / Mildew

If an infestation of any type (e.g., bed bugs, cockroaches, insects, rodents, etc) is detected, we cannot clean your property. Mold and mildew will be assessed at the time of consultation, however, if you have a substancial amount of either, we will not be able to clean your property.

Payments

Full payments is due by or on the day of your cleaning. Essential Services & More accepts various payment options (e.g. cash, checks, credit cards, Zelle). All checks should be payable to Essential Services and More. Returned checks by the bank will be an additional fee of $35.

Service Completion

Essential Services and more will take responsibility for our work and will return to do a touch-up service in areas that were missed (Please report within 24 hours). We will also be responsible for any damages caused by our team. WE DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING BROKEN OR DAMAGED PRIOR TO STAFF ARRIVAL.

Preparation

Upon arrival, we ask that your home or office is clear, accessible, and ready for our staff to work. Although we will fold clothes (not a large amount) and place them on the bed, please pick up and put away any items so the space is clutter-free. Highly cluttered areas are often avoided to prevent loss, damaging or misplacement of client’s personal items; however, if you would like the removal or organization of those items, you may elected cleanliness and organization of the items as an add-on.

Booking / Scheduling / Fees

Essential Services and More offers different packages and add-on services. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday (8:00 am – 4:00 pm) and Saturday (8:00 am – 1 pm). Any weekend cleaning will be an additional $20. We do not work by the hour. Your price is estimated by the service you request and the sq ft of your property. Please read packages, add-on services, and policies and procedures thoroughly. We offer various add-on services that can be booked along with your main cleaning. If you have questions contact us. We will gladly answer questions.

Cancellation / Re-Scheduling / Late Fee

If for any reason you need to cancel or re-schedule an appointment , a 48 hour notice is recommended or client will be charged full price. If you choose to open for the cleaning crew, please make sure you are there on time or you will be charge a $20 late fee after 15 minutes of the schedule time.

Deposit

50% deposit is required before your cleanning. Remaining balance is due by the end of your scheduled cleaning.

Services We Cannot Provide

Essential Services and More will always do their best to meet your standards. However, for our safety, we have some exceptions. 

  • Clean or wash any exterior/ interior windows that cannot be easily reached with a two-step ladder. 
  • Clean anything over 9 feet above the ground
  • Heavy lifting (move or pick up anything weighing over 30 lbs)
  • Clean areas that are difficult, cluttered, and unsafe to access
  • NO GARAGES WILL BE CLEANED
  • We do not discard items in the refrigerator, microwave, or oven unless add-on is elected
